Work with me to set up HelpCCMS

I am the founder of HelpCCMS and a technical writer. If you would rather not work this out alone, you can work with me directly on putting HelpCCMS to use in your product.

What I help with

Setting up HelpCCMS for your case. Which collection your content belongs in, what your help keys should be called, and how your topics are structured so they stay findable when there are two hundred of them.

Migrating and structuring the help content you already have. Strings in your code, a knowledge base, a folder of documents, a spreadsheet. We get it in and give it a shape you can keep working in.

Looking at your integration with you. I read along while you wire up the delivery call, and we get the first topics visible in your own application.

How we start

You do not need to have it all worked out first. We start with three things: your application, the help content you have now, and what your users need to be able to do. From there we decide what to set up and in what order.

What we are working towards

Explanation that stands in the application, at the place where the question comes up, and readers who can carry on by themselves.

Two further aims, and they are aims rather than promises, because they depend on your content and your users as much as on the tooling:

Scope

We agree the scope together, once I have seen your application and your content. What that comes to depends on how much content there is and how far your integration already is, so I would rather look first and tell you then.

Getting in touch

Write to support@helpccms.com. Include a link to your application and a line or two about the help content you have now, and where it lives. I read it myself.

If you want to look at the mechanics first, Integrate HelpCCMS covers the delivery call and Bringing your help text in covers the import format.
